Strand service major organisations both in the Private and Public sectors throughout London and the South East. TheCompany was established in 1959 and has a current turnover of circa £33 million, employing around 3500 permanent staff. Strand offer a complete building maintenance programme comprising daily, periodic, office and general premises cleaning, window cleaning and ancillary services such as carpet cleaning, VDU and computer cleaning, laundry supplies, janitorial and hygiene requirements. Our Window Cleaning Division has a turnover of £5 million and we currently employ over 50 full-time operatives to service clients within our operating areas. All window cleaning operatives are directly employed by the Company and are fully conversant in the use of cradle and other access equipment. The Company is a corporate member of the BIFM, The Cleaning and Support Services Association and Supplyline Preferred and Audited Contractor Scheme (Safe Contractor Certification). Individuals are also members of the British Institute of the British Institute of Cleaning Science and the British Institute of Facilities Management. Over the years Strand has also won several Golden Service Awards in the various categories.
